‘I Take Issue’ project- wrote my first graphic novelette! Not something I’d normally say, but I’m super proud of this.

I’ve been saying for a while that Republicans are okay with the existence of billionaires because they have no concept of what a billion is.
This photo is proof. They’re completely unaware of the fact that there are 1,000 millions in a billion.

100,000+ American citizens stripped of any and all rights they had, thrown in prison without trial, all because of who their ancestors were.
Or the crack epidemic being caused by the CIA, and then the subsequent murder of Gary Webb who exposed it.

idk if this is exactly related but another fucked up thing the US government did is that they granted immunity to nazis who conducted fatal human experiments so they could use the data obtained from them. Just look up Unit 731 on Wikipedia and you’ll be able to read about it (some of the experiments in the “Activities” tab are extremely graphic. just a warning.)
Also don’t forget that they looked to undermine and infiltrate civil rights movements. The FBI sent death threats and suicide baiting letters to MLK and they wire tapped him as well. FBI also sent agents into the Black Panthers and also Marcus Garvey’s organization to break up the group and sew discord.
